Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse or storage facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing products or materials. You will maintain accurate inventory records, ensure the proper condition of goods, and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the store or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inventory checks and report on stock levels, damages, or lost goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area, ensuring that items are properly arranged for easy access and retrieval.
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Perform stock audits and report on stock movements and discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of goods for shipment, ensuring proper packing and labeling.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure the security of the storage area.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring all items are properly labeled and shelved.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for products to prevent damage or spoilage (e.g., temperature, humidity, security).
• Issue items or materials based on requisition forms or orders, and ensure accurate and timely delivery to the correct department or team.

Experience

Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse worker, or in a similar role.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus).
