Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (GST, VAT, Income Tax, etc.) for multiple companies.
  • Keep up to date with current tax legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and manage tax provisions and coordinate audits by tax authorities.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records for trading and manufacturing units.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and financial statements.
  • Ensure inter-company transactions and reconciliations are completed accurately.

• Strategic Tax Planning:

  • Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance.

• Audit Management:

  • Manage external and internal audits related to tax and financial operations.
  • Liaise with auditors and resolve any tax-related discrepancies.

• Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with the finance, legal, and compliance teams to align on tax strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and internal controls.

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in a tax-focused accounting role, with a background in trading and manufacturing industries.
• Expertise in handling multi-entity accounts and working with cross-border tax regulations.

Education

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Masters

Specialized training in tax laws and regulations, especially in manufacturing and trading sectors.
