Responsibilities

Below are the major responsibilities of Area Sales Manager

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets in the tertiary market.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and ensure product placement in key tertiary markets.
  • Conduct regular visits to retailers, monitor stock levels, generate orders, collect payment and ensure timely dispatch/delivery of products.
  • Regularly monitor the sales target of the retail party along with payment, aging and limit.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and prompt issue resolution.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team to help promotional strategies.
  • Ensure well-organized product displays of the company’s products at retail outlets.
  • Evaluate the performance of  retailers and take corrective action as needed.
  • Educate retailers about the product's features and inform them about the new product launching..
  • Monitor  and report competitors' activities.
  • Perform other tasks as per company policy.
  • Involve in marketing, branding, and sales activities within the designated territory.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in Small Home Appliances or Kitchen ware

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
