Associate Motion Designer (Digital)

The Role:

We are keen to find our next family member. We are looking for an upbeat and energetic Associate Motion Designer to help us create awesome moving imagery for many exciting social media projects.

About you:

• Decent work samples and demonstrated working experience for social media/animation projects
• Must have good understanding of typography and principal of designs
• A good eye for motion, image and design
• Relevant educational background (preferred)
• Have a genuine interest in current and emerging design trends and technologies
• Be attentive to details and meet deadlines
• You’ll have confidence to lead smaller projects independently and have a good attitude to working alongside others
• Expert fluency on a PC platform Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects
• Intermediate understanding of animation & design for digital output
• A can-do attitude and a genuine love for the work that you specialize in
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and diligently
• Be calm under pressure

Responsibilities

Your Responsibility:

• Working in collaboration with graphics designers/illustrators within the team
• Coming up with compelling animations for social media calendars, campaigns, website and branding projects
• Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery
• Collaborate, document and communicate proactively throughout the work cycle
• Taking responsibility for creative development on projects, ensuring creative output answers the brief
• You'll become a core member of our growing team working closely with our account managers and senior designers to develop projects for digital and print campaigns

Experience

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience within an agency environment or similar

Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
