Specific Attributes

• Must have good knowledge of operating Accounting software packages ( Tally / Swastik)
• Must be willing to learn the software package employed by the Company
• Must be energetic, resourceful, willing to learn and participate in company affairs, and be a strong team player
• Must have strong knowledge of the statutory taxes applicable in the country
• Must have strong knowledge of Banking processes and transactions in order to perform the duties as defined above (see Job Description)
• Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be proficient in the use of English and Nepali language – both spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Day to day book keeping and data-entry
• Preparation of management reports
• Preparation of month-end accounts 
• Liaising with the auditors during the annual financial audits
• Perform day-to-day Banking functions: cash transfers, documentation preparation, submission and follow up, foreign party payments via RTGS/ Demand Draft, Bi Bi Ni issuance and submission to Bank, liaise with Bank personnel etc.
• Other duties considered reasonable in line with the position and in the normal course of business

Experience

2 or more years of relevant work experience in a reputed company

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from a reputed University
